About the role

Sweet Aroma Foods is seeking a dedicated Chef / Cook to join its kitchen team in Tamale. The role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on preparing healthy, flavorful dishes that meet the company’s quality and portion standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes.
• Pre‑process ingredients, measure portions, and ensure consistent seasoning.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean, hygienic work environment.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and waste, adjusting as needed.
• Manage ingredient stock levels and assist with inventory control.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and supervisors to deliver timely service.

Required profile

• Strong culinary background with experience in a restaurant, catering, or food‑production setting.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Ability to follow recipes, portion guidelines, and production schedules in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Minimum secondary or vocational education; culinary training is a plus.
