Chemical Engineering Trainer Lead (Remote, Short-Term Contract)

About the role

A remote, short-term contract position as pod lead for chemical engineering trainers, working 10 to 40 hours per week. The role leads and mentors a group of technical trainers while reviewing engineering tasks for accuracy and reproducibility.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a pod of technical trainers, ensuring consistent quality and productivity.
• Review engineering tasks for technical accuracy and reproducibility.
• Validate tasks involving reaction engineering, thermodynamics and process simulation.
• Ensure tasks reflect realistic chemical engineering workflows.
• Provide clear technical feedback and track revisions.

Required profile

• Ph.D., postdoctoral experience or equivalent advanced technical experience in Chemical Engineering.
• Experience reviewing complex technical work and chemical process simulations.

Required skills

• Strong programming in Python, Julia, C/C++ or MATLAB/Octave.
• Hands-on expertise in process modeling, reaction kinetics or thermodynamic modeling.
• Strong understanding of chemical engineering fundamentals and computational modeling.

Pay is listed as $15-$30 per hour; applications are made through the Easy Apply option.
