Primary Two Tutor

About the role

Loozeele Excellence Academy, part of the Loozeele Initiative's mission to uplift communities in the Upper East Region of Ghana, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Two Teacher. The role helps create a nurturing, structured and stimulating learning environment for young learners, supporting their academic, social and emotional development, especially children whose mothers are in vocational training programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with the Primary Two curriculum.
• Foster a positive, inclusive and developmentally supportive classroom environment.
• Monitor and assess each student's progress through regular observation and documentation.
• Plan and run daily routines such as circle time, story time, playtime and nap time.
• Organise educational and recreational activities that build motor skills, language and social interaction.
• Keep parents informed about progress, behaviour and classroom activities, and take part in parent-teacher meetings.
• Collaborate with colleagues, staff and administrators, and pursue ongoing professional development.
