Chief Finance Officer – T Cash

About the role

The Chief Finance Officer will lead the finance function for Telecel Ghana’s T Cash business, overseeing cash, revenue, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and strategic analysis while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance team to develop and execute the organisation’s financial and business strategy.
• Support the Managing Director in achieving revenue, EBITDA, cash flow and working‑capital targets.
• Ensure compliance with Bank of Ghana, audit, tax and treasury regulations.
• Drive finance transformation, set KPIs and manage forecasting, planning, analysis and reporting.
• Lead funding, liquidity management and investor relations.
• Provide strategic insights for sustainable value creation and ROI decisions.
• Maintain efficient accounting and reporting systems, oversee transaction recording and account reconciliation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (ACCA, ICAG, CIMA, CPA) preferred.
• 10+ years of financial leadership experience, including 5+ years in senior roles, preferably in fintech.
• Proven experience in forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting and strategic planning.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
• Expertise in forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of Open Banking and P2D (preferred).
