Chief Technology Officer

About the role

SAI Technology is seeking a hands‑on executive to lead its technical strategy, architecture, engineering execution, and product reliability across a growing portfolio of operational platforms. This equity‑led position is remote‑friendly and aimed at building a serious technology company over the long term.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the technical direction for products such as Transveo, Operon, Swift Transport, Casa360, Nexus, and future offerings.
• Make architecture decisions across frontend, backend, infrastructure, data, integrations, observability, and security.
• Ensure product reliability, uptime, release quality, incident handling, and operational resilience.
• Establish engineering delivery rhythm, code quality standards, testing, documentation, and review discipline.
• Hire, mentor, and manage engineers as the team scales.
• Lead technical due diligence for new product opportunities, client projects, partnerships, and acquisitions.
• Shape infrastructure strategy covering cloud, self‑hosted systems, CI/CD, monitoring, backups, and cost control.
• Integrate AI‑assisted engineering workflows and practical AI features where they improve business operations.

Required profile

• Strong full‑stack engineering judgment with ability to work hands‑on when needed.
• Experience leading or shaping production systems used by real customers.
• Comfort with early‑stage ambiguity, limited resources, and high ownership.
• Clear communication with both engineers and business stakeholders.
• Commitment to building durable systems that survive operational pressure.
