Chinese Translator

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual Chinese‑English Translator to support our tile manufacturing operations in Takoradi. The role combines assistance to the Factory Line Manager with translation duties, ensuring smooth communication between Chinese‑speaking partners and our English‑speaking staff.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Factory Line Manager in supervising production line staff and coordinating daily activities.
• Translate and interpret documents, meetings, and on‑site communications between Chinese and English.
• Prepare, maintain, and file production records, reports, and quality documents.
• Support implementation of production, quality, and safety standards.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Factory Line Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum senior high school education.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English.
• Strong communication, coordination, and basic leadership abilities.
• Ability to use standard computer software and office tools.

Required skills

• Chinese language proficiency (spoken and written).
• English language proficiency (spoken and written).
• Microsoft Office or equivalent office software.
