About the role
A Ghanaian-based oil and gas company specializing in import and export services is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Commercial Manager to lead its commercial activities, drive business growth and strengthen its market position in the downstream oil and gas industry. The role is based in the Accra-Tema region.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development and sales strategies.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities in the downstream sector.
- Analyze market trends and fuel pricing to inform commercial decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key B2B clients, partners and stakeholders.
- Work with internal teams to ensure efficient trading, distribution and supply operations.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics or a related field; an MBA is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Commercial Manager in the oil industry (downstream oil and gas).
- Strong background in B2B sales and business development.
- Familiarity with petroleum trading and distribution.
