Field Sales (Outside Sales) Representative

About the role

A client is hiring a professional and skilled Field Sales Representative to join its sales team on an immediate basis. The role involves developing sales strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones, sourcing new opportunities, closing deals and increasing revenue through client management, prospect qualification and lead generation.

Key responsibilities

• Use customer sales techniques to close sales and forecast sales, evaluating the effectiveness of new sales approaches
• Attract new clients with new strategies and sales processes, and evaluate client needs to build long-lasting relationships
• Meet individual and team sales targets and research accounts, following up or generating leads
• Attend sales events, meetings and training sessions, and give feedback to senior management with supporting statistics
• Maintain the client database for the territory and generate daily and monthly sales reports

Required profile

• BS/BA degree in Sales and Marketing or a related field; candidates with a high school diploma and relevant experience will also be considered
• Proven sales experience as a Field Sales Representative, Sales Representative or similar role
• Track record of achieving assigned sales quotas
• Self-motivated and result-oriented

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of sales methodologies and pipeline management
• Hands-on experience with CRM and other software
• Proficiency in MS Office tools
• Outstanding negotiation and interpersonal skills
