Commercial Performance Specialist

About the role

Telecel Ghana is looking for a Commercial Performance Specialist in the Accra and Tema region. The role delivers business and commercial intelligence to the Enterprise Business Unit, supporting performance evaluation and commercial strategy across Telecel Wholesale, Telecel Business, and both Fixed and Mobile product lines. It also leads analytical work in the Collections sector to improve financial results.

Key responsibilities

• Own business performance reporting for Enterprise products, Telecel Wholesale and Collections, spotting trends and recommending corrective actions
• Manage the budgeting process, including weekly, rolling and quarterly forecasts for Fixed, new wave, Wholesale Business and Wholesale Carrier Services
• Automate performance tracking and commission calculations for Telecel Business and Fixed product lines
• Produce weekly trend reports on Fixed KPIs and monthly performance summaries for Telecel Wholesale
• Validate quarterly commission payouts for Wholesale partners and compile the Redbook International (IB) Business report for Monthly Performance Reviews
• Prepare quarterly board presentation materials for Telecel Wholesale and Telecel Business leadership meetings
• Run ad-hoc analyses for the Wholesale Head and Fixed Product Managers, and support quarterly commission calculations for Wholesale, Collections and Cash Student Ambassadors
• Maintain a central database covering sales, collections, revenue, churn, win-back rates, IBRO, ARPU, ARPA, gross additions and terminations/suspensions
• Lead the quarterly computation of Collections commissions and facilitate On-Target Commission allocation

Required profile

• Proven experience in business performance analysis, budgeting and forecasting in a telecom or enterprise services setting
• Experience preparing board reports and executive summaries
• Ability to manage databases tracking ARPU, gross adds and termination rates
• Solid understanding of incentive management, commission logic and financial compliance
• Strong organisation to handle multiple reporting cycles and ad-hoc projects at once
