Community and Programmes Coordinator

About the role

The Community and Programmes Coordinator runs the Bozoma Innovation Hub day to day. It is a founding role: you keep the doors open, the programmes running and the community close. You will coordinate the flagship 24 Karat Residency and the Hub's events, welcome and support the young people served, manage the space and its resources, and be the trusted, friendly face of the Hub in Aiyinasi. You will work closely with the founder and the Business Development and Operations Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Run the day-to-day operations of the Hub: opening and closing, managing the space, equipment, internet and power, and keeping it ready for learning and events.
• Coordinate end-to-end delivery of BIH programmes, including the 24 Karat Residency, ensuring strong attendance, engagement and a high-quality experience for every resident.
• Build trusted relationships with residents, families, schools and local stakeholders, and mobilise young people for programmes and events.
• Plan and run the Hub's events on the ground, from Possibility Sessions and open days to Demo Day.
• Support residents through the programme, track their progress and follow up for twelve months after they finish.
• Keep simple records of attendance, activities and outcomes, and share clear, regular reports with the founding team.

Required profile

• Senior High School certificate; a tertiary qualification is an advantage.
• Fluency in English and Nzema (or Twi) is essential.
• Must be based in or near Aiyinasi; this is a hands-on, in-person role.
• Deep familiarity with Aiyinasi and the surrounding Nzema communities.

Required skills

• Comfortable with everyday digital tools such as Google Workspace, WhatsApp and smartphones.
• Highly organised and dependable, able to keep a busy hub running smoothly.
• Warm, trusted and persuasive, with a genuine care for young people.
• High integrity, a builder's mindset and patience to help grow an institution over time.
