Community Engagement Intern

About the role

The Community Engagement Intern will support Cornerstone in building trust and financial awareness within Ghanaian communities. You will work remotely, connecting with market associations, savings groups, schools, religious and social groups, and other local organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and connect with community groups, associations, and local organisations.
• Support financial literacy sessions and community information events, both online and in‑person where agreed.
• Manage community channels such as WhatsApp groups and online communities.
• Gather community feedback and share insights with Product and Marketing teams.
• Help develop simple financial education materials in accessible language.
• Track engagement activities, attendance, and follow‑up.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and public communication skills.
• Comfort engaging with diverse groups of people.
• Good understanding of Ghanaian communities and local contexts.
• Organised and reliable in planning activities.
• Interest in financial inclusion and community development.
