Consultant - Vascural

About the role

The Consultant – Vascural provides comprehensive clinical care to patients within Fakeeh Care facilities. The role involves performing assessments, developing evidence‑based care plans, and ensuring high‑quality documentation and patient safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform clinical duties within assigned privileges, including thorough clinical, socioeconomic, psychological, and functional assessments.
• Develop and document evidence‑based care plans, monitor implementation, and adjust as needed.
• Act as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP) for in‑patients, create discharge plans on admission day, and coordinate with discharge‑planning services.
• Conduct daily inpatient assessments, document progress notes using SOAP format, and respond promptly to medical consultations.
• Document all medical interventions, complete discharge summaries, and provide medication education before discharge.
• Participate in facility call schedules, departmental meetings, and contribute ideas for efficiency and patient satisfaction.
• Prepare medical reports, support teaching rounds, and educate patients and families about health conditions and preventive measures.
• Adhere to Fakeeh Care documentation standards, safety protocols, confidentiality policies, and mandatory education requirements.

• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, physicians, and non‑medical staff.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft computer applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
