Country Manager - Solar PV Sales & Business Development

About the role

HRLeverage, a world-leading PV inverter manufacturer and smart energy solution provider founded in 2010, is hiring a Country Manager for its solar PV sales and business development business. The role is based locally with periods of work from home and frequent travel. The company manufactures inverters from 0.7kW to 350kW and has installed them in over 100 countries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sales in the local market, identify and acquire new customers and maintain long-term relationships with existing overseas clients such as distributors, channels, large-scale projects, developers, EPC contractors and wholesalers.
• Visit customers regularly and work with them on business and product strategies; coordinate technical activities around customer and project success using deep product and system knowledge.
• Analyse solar PV market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to shape strategies, and represent the company at industry events, conferences and exhibitions.
• Improve the efficiency of the sales organisation, set channel policies for partners, mediate conflicts and enforce policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in solar product sales within the PV industry.
• Proven sales experience in international markets and a global mindset for multicultural environments.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
