Customs Clearance Specialist

About the role
We are looking for a diligent Customs Clearance Specialist to join our team in Takoradi. You will ensure that all import and export paperwork complies with Ghanaian customs regulations and that shipments move smoothly through the clearance process.
Key responsibilities
- Check and verify all import/export customs documents, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and shipping documents for consistency and accuracy.
- Complete online customs declaration submissions through the official customs system, ensuring data is standard, compliant and error‑free.
- Sort, file and archive customs clearance documents, maintaining complete and orderly records.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Experience in customs liaison, import and export clearance, and document declaration.
- Familiarity with the Ghana ICUMS system is preferred.
- Proficient in computer and office software operation.
- Highly responsible, careful, detail‑oriented and able to work under pressure, including reasonable overtime.
