Cyber Security Part-time Tutor

About the role

The Cyber Security Part-time Tutor will deliver on‑site instruction to students in Accra, covering both foundational and advanced cyber security concepts. This part‑time position involves preparing lectures, tutorials, and practical labs aligned with the college curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, and lab sessions on cyber security topics.
• Develop lesson plans and teaching materials that reflect current industry practices.
• Guide learners through real‑world scenarios, review assignments, and provide constructive feedback.
• Mentor students on best practices, support exam preparation, and collaborate with academic staff to improve course content.

Required profile

• Relevant academic qualification in Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science or related field.
• Professional certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP are an advantage.
• Previous teaching, training or mentoring experience at tertiary or vocational level.
• Strong instructional, communication and presentation abilities.

Required skills

• Cybersecurity and Information Security fundamentals.
• Network Security – securing infrastructure, threat monitoring, protective measures.
• Application Security – secure coding, vulnerability assessment, mitigation.
• Threat analysis, incident response, risk management.
