Director, Finance

About the role

The Director, Finance will provide strategic leadership and technical direction for the finance functions of the Authority. This senior position is responsible for ensuring robust financial management, reporting, and resource mobilisation to support the Authority’s objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present periodic financial reports for the Authority.
• Lead sourcing of funding and advise on revenue mobilisation strategies.
• Coordinate material and financial resources to support Authority activities.
• Oversee the preparation of the annual budget and monitor cash flow to meet business and investment needs.
• Advise senior management on prudent financial practices and public financial management regulations.
• Supervise departmental staff, set standards, and review financial policies.
• Ensure compliance with procurement, auditing, and labour regulations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration (Finance, Accounting, Commerce) or related field.
• Chartered Accountant qualification (ICA GH, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Minimum 10 years post‑qualification experience, including at least 5 years in a senior management role.
