English & English Literature Teacher (Lower Secondary)

About the role

KinderKids International School (KIS) is looking for a passionate English and English Literature teacher to join its Lower Secondary team in Accra, Ghana. As a Pearson Edexcel Partner School, you will help deliver learner‑centred education that inspires a love of language and critical thinking.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English Language and English Literature lessons for lower secondary students.
• Assess, monitor, and support student progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
• Mark and provide feedback on coursework and examinations.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to school activities and events.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in English, English Literature, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching qualification or license (preferred).
• Experience teaching English or English Literature at the lower secondary level.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
• Familiarity with Pearson Edexcel or other international curricula is an advantage.
