Enterprise Business Unit Director

About the role

The Enterprise Business Unit Director will lead Telecel Ghana’s Business and Wholesale segment, shaping strategy, growth and profitability across large corporates, SMEs, government and carrier customers. The role drives the transformation from traditional connectivity to integrated ICT solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise business strategy aligned with company objectives, identifying growth opportunities across all enterprise segments.
• Own revenue, EBITDA and market‑share targets, building a sustainable pipeline and ensuring robust sales governance.
• Lead enterprise sales teams, strengthen indirect channels and oversee bid management for large strategic deals.
• Collaborate with product, technology and partners to design and launch cloud, managed services, IoT, cybersecurity and unified communications solutions.
• Build and manage strategic alliances with technology providers, system integrators and financial service partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Telecommunications or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10–15+ years of experience in telecom, technology or ICT, with a proven track record in enterprise/B2B sales and solutions.
• Strong commercial acumen, P&L management and negotiation skills.
• Experience operating in emerging markets, preferably Africa.
