Environmental Health Safety Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Environmental Health Safety Specialist to join Keda Ghana Ceramics Company Limited, a leading tile manufacturer in Ghana. The specialist will support safety operations across the factory, ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out regular safety inspections and comprehensive risk assessments throughout the production site.
• Develop and deliver safety training sessions and induction programmes for employees.
• Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor adherence to internal safety policies and external legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate safety records, documentation and incident logs.
• Assist in the preparation and execution of emergency response plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or a related discipline.
• NEBOSH or IOSH certification.
• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is an advantage.
• Strong written communication and report‑writing abilities.
