Finance Manager – MFS

About the role

The MFS Finance Manager is responsible for driving financial performance and strategic decision‑making within Telecel Ghana’s Consumer Business Units. Reporting to the Financial Operations Head under the CFO, the role serves as the single point of contact for all financial matters, providing actionable insights that shape commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end business performance reporting across all product lines and segments, delivering insights and recommendations.
• Design and implement standardized templates and KPIs for daily, weekly and monthly revenue tracking.
• Lead business logic definition and Consumer Management Information Reporting for key functional analysis.
• Drive business intelligence initiatives to allocate consumer targets across segments, products and regions.
• Manage Consumer P&L, including variance analysis, strategic recommendations and OPEX planning.
• Ensure data quality through robust deviation detection and quality control mechanisms.
• Define and periodically review the MFS team’s incentive plan and enforce commission structures.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with finance and business units.
• Provide financial expertise and advisory support to engineering‑focused teams in a matrix environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in financial analysis, with at least 4 years in middle‑management roles overseeing independent business units.
• Proven track record of managing P&L, budgeting, forecasting and performance analytics.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
