Financial & Regulatory Reporting Officer

About the role

The Financial & Regulatory Reporting Officer will ensure that all financial and regulatory reporting complies with GAAP, IFRS, IAS and local regulations. This role supports eProcess and Ecobank businesses by delivering accurate financial data and maintaining strong internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accounting entries for supplier invoices and staff expenses.
• Proof and verify financial data to guarantee accuracy and integrity.
• Maintain up‑to‑date bank reconciliations and the fixed assets register.
• Produce weekly cash‑flow statements and monthly financial reports for the Group Office and Executive Committee.
• Manage regulatory reporting to Ghanaian authorities such as the Ghana Free Zone Board and Ghana Revenue Authority.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal audit standards.
• Monitor adherence to established finance processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the Financial & Regulatory Reporting Manager and assist the CFO with ad‑hoc tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, budgeting or cost control.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA) or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and IAS.
