Fleet Operations Manager

About the role

The Fleet Operations Manager will oversee driver welfare and vehicle operations, ensuring efficient use of technology and compliance with regulations. This strategic position requires strong analytical abilities, problem‑solving skills, and the capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor vehicle locations and driver performance using GPS and proprietary technology.
• Develop strategies to reduce costs, increase profits, and improve operational efficiency.
• Create and track key performance indicators across all teams.
• Prepare regular maintenance reports and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Design and deliver training modules for vehicle and equipment usage.
• Maintain fleet availability to meet user demand and oversee transportation scheduling policies.
• Manage vehicle registration, licensing, and budgeting processes.
• Enforce procedures for selecting drivers from the Academy and ensure adherence to established processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of logistics or transportation experience.
• Degree in Logistics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years in operations leadership, strategic planning, or management consulting within a fast‑paced global organization.
• Experience in mobility, fintech, gig‑economy, or e‑commerce sectors.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
