Forward Deployment Technician (Regional Contractor)

About the role

Asante Automation and Security Solutions (AASS) is building a nationwide network of independent technicians to install and commission its smart security, automation and tracking solutions. The Forward Deployment Technician will travel within an assigned region to deliver installations, test equipment and hand over fully functional systems to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure GPS vehicle tracking devices, including wiring and functional testing.
• Deploy CCTV and AI‑powered surveillance systems – IP cameras, PoE switches, network cabling and edge computing units.
• Install smart water monitoring and automation components such as level sensors, pump controllers and irrigation equipment.
• Support smart‑home and building automation installations according to training.
• Assess site conditions, troubleshoot issues and ensure compliance with AASS standards.
• Complete installation reports, submit photos and obtain customer hand‑over confirmation.

Required profile

• Own a reliable car and a valid driving licence.
• Based in Ghana and willing to travel within the assigned region.
• Practical skills in installation, basic wiring, troubleshooting or electronics.
• Comfortable using smartphones and computers for configuration and testing.
• Professional communication with customers and accurate record‑keeping.
