French & Spanish Teacher (Full‑time, Accra)

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time French and Spanish Teacher to join our mission‑driven team in Accra. You will deliver engaging language lessons to learners of varying proficiency, fostering both linguistic skills and cultural appreciation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver interactive French and Spanish lessons covering listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
• Design lesson plans, assign and grade assessments, and keep accurate attendance and performance records.
• Provide individualized tutoring and small‑group support as needed.
• Develop or adapt curriculum materials and integrate cultural content into lessons.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices and participate in meetings or training sessions.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.

Required profile

• Strong teaching abilities in French and Spanish with experience working with diverse learners.
• Advanced proficiency in both languages and clear communication skills in English.
• Relevant teaching certification or a degree in Languages, Education, or a related field (preferred).
• Demonstrated classroom management and ability to create an inclusive, learner‑centered environment.
• Organizational reliability and a collaborative approach.
• Passion for education, cultural exchange, and contributing to a socially focused organization.
