Full-Stack Engineering Lead (.NET, React)

About the role

The Full-Stack Engineering Lead provides technical leadership and hands‑on development across web, mobile, and backend platforms. Reporting to the Engineering Director, the role shapes architectural direction, sets engineering standards, and mentors a growing team of developers.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end technical direction for web (React/Next.js), mobile (React Native), and .NET Core backend services.
• Drive pragmatic architectural decisions, balancing modular monolith and micro‑service approaches.
• Apply Domain‑Driven Design to define bounded contexts, aggregates, and domain events.
• Set and enforce standards for code quality, testing, API contracts, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Project Managers to clarify requirements, break epics into deliverable slices, and estimate work.
• Plan sprints, manage dependencies, and mitigate risks while balancing speed and technical sustainability.
• Lead and mentor engineers through pair programming, design reviews, and code reviews.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and the development of a strong engineering culture.
• Design and implement resilient .NET Core APIs, security fundamentals, background processing, and database optimisation.
• Establish observability foundations for system health monitoring.

Required profile

• Proven full‑stack experience delivering production products on frontend, backend, and mobile.
• Previous senior engineer or tech‑lead role with clear ownership of delivery and mentorship.
• Strong system‑design skills and ability to communicate architectural trade‑offs to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Hands‑on experience with Domain‑Driven Design in real‑world projects.
