Full Stack Engineering Lead (.NET, React)

About the role

The Full‑Stack Tech Lead provides technical leadership and hands‑on engineering across web, mobile, and backend platforms. Reporting to the Engineering Director, the role owns end‑to‑end technical direction, drives architectural decisions and mentors a growing team of developers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce architectural standards for modular monoliths, micro‑services and Domain‑Driven Design (DDD) across the product suite.
• Lead sprint planning, release management and risk mitigation while balancing speed with technical sustainability.
• Mentor engineers through pair programming, design reviews and code reviews.
• Guide UI development on web (React/Next.js) and mobile (React Native) ensuring performance, accessibility and responsive design.
• Design and implement backend services in .NET Core, including API design, security, resiliency patterns and background processing.
• Own database schema design, migrations, indexing and query optimisation.
• Establish observability foundations for system health monitoring.
• Support hiring, onboarding and the cultivation of a strong engineering culture.

Required profile

• Proven senior engineering or tech‑lead experience with full‑stack product delivery.
• Strong system‑design skills and ability to communicate architectural trade‑offs to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated mentorship and team‑building capabilities.
• Experience collaborating closely with product owners and project managers.
