Full-Stack Tech Lead (Web, Mobile, Backend)

About the role

A fast-moving tech startup is looking for a Full-Stack Tech Lead to own delivery across web, mobile and backend. The role is hands-on across the stack while guiding architecture, setting engineering standards and mentoring developers, working closely with Product Owners and Project Managers to shape scope, plan releases and ensure predictable delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end technical direction and drive pragmatic decisions on modular monolith versus microservices, applying DDD to set clear domain boundaries.
• Set standards for code quality, testing, API contracts and documentation.
• Work with Product Owners and Project Managers to clarify requirements, break epics into slices, estimate work, plan sprints and releases, and balance speed with technical sustainability.
• Mentor engineers through pairing, design reviews, code reviews and coaching, support hiring and onboarding, and build an engineering culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
• Lead web (React/Next.js) and mobile (React Native) development, covering state management, performance, component architecture, responsive design, accessibility and mobile UX.
• Own backend design and implementation in .NET Core, including API design and security basics, database design and performance, and resilient patterns such as retries, timeouts, idempotency, background processing and observability.

Required profile

• Strong full-stack experience shipping production products, with mobile experience required.
• Prior experience as a senior engineer or lead with clear ownership of delivery and mentorship.
• Demonstrated architectural competence in DDD, modular monolith design and microservices understanding.
• Solid database fundamentals (relational DB design, migrations, performance tuning).
• Strong collaboration with Product Owners and Project Managers.
