Gynaecologist

About the role

The Gynaecologist will deliver comprehensive, patient‑centered gynecological and obstetric services at our on‑site clinic in Dzorwulu. This full‑time position involves outpatient consultations, routine examinations, diagnosis and management of a wide range of women's health conditions, as well as preventive care and health education.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient consultations and perform routine gynecological examinations.
• Diagnose, treat and manage gynecologic and obstetric conditions, including high‑risk pregnancies.
• Perform and assist with gynecologic surgeries, including minimally invasive and emergency procedures.
• Provide antenatal, postnatal and emergency obstetric care as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to clinical protocols and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of nurses, midwives and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in case reviews, quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Medical degree with specialist certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology from a recognized board.
• Valid medical license to practice.
• Proven experience in a hospital or clinic setting, preferably in women’s health or maternity services.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to evidence‑based practice, ethical standards and confidentiality.
• Flexibility to work on‑call or weekend shifts when required.
