Head of Clinical Sciences – Academic Leadership

About the role
Central University is hiring a Head of Clinical Sciences to lead the department, provide clinical services at the upcoming university hospital, and support medical education for its students.
Key responsibilities
- Provide academic and administrative leadership to the Clinical Sciences department.
- Deliver clinical services at the Central University Hospital once it becomes operational.
- Offer teaching and supervisory support to medical students.
- Collaborate with external hospital partners and clinical faculties.
- Fulfill all obligations of a senior academic member.
- Execute any additional duties assigned by the Dean or Vice‑Chancellor.
Required profile
- Minimum rank of Senior Lecturer at a recognised tertiary institution, or at least seven years of clinical practice in public or private settings.
- PhD, terminal degree (fellowship), or membership qualification from a recognised body in internal medicine, Accident & Emergency Medicine, or Family Medicine.
- Previous experience in similar senior academic or clinical leadership roles is advantageous.
