Head of Operations (Security Services)

About the role

The Head of Operations will lead the security services division, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of protection across client sites in Accra and Tema. Reporting to senior management, you will shape strategy, drive performance and uphold the highest standards of safety.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all security operations and personnel.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve security strategies, procedures and operational standards.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements and relevant regulations.
• Monitor performance metrics, operational efficiency and risk indicators.
• Maintain and grow client relationships, addressing operational concerns promptly.
• Conduct regular site inspections, security audits and risk assessments.
• Lead, mentor and develop security teams, fostering a culture of professionalism.
• Prepare operational reports and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Security Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of progressive experience in security operations management.
• Proven leadership, decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage client expectations.
• Strong knowledge of security procedures, risk management and operational standards.
• Experience in the private security industry is an advantage.
