Head of Para-Clinical Sciences (Academic Leadership)

About the role
Central University is looking for a senior academic leader to head its Para‑Clinical Sciences department. The role combines strategic oversight, teaching and research supervision to advance the department’s academic excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Provide academic and administrative leadership for the Para‑Clinical Sciences department.
- Deliver teaching and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Fulfill obligations expected of a senior academic member, including committee work and curriculum development.
- Execute additional duties assigned by the Dean or Vice‑Chancellor.
Required profile
- Current rank of Senior Lecturer or higher at a recognised tertiary institution.
- PhD or equivalent terminal degree in Medical Microbiology, Pathology, Chemical Pathology, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Pharmacology or Hematology.
- Previous experience in a similar senior academic or departmental leadership role is an advantage.
