Health & Safety Supervisor – Manufacturing

About the role

Keda Ghana Ceramics Company Limited, a leading tile manufacturer in Ghana and West Africa, is seeking a Health & Safety Supervisor to lead safety operations across its factory. The role involves implementing policies, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits.
• Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training and induction programs for all staff.
• Maintain safety records, documentation, and ensure compliance with the Ghana Labour Act and relevant safety regulations.
• Support emergency response planning and conduct drills.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies during inspections.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of safety management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Ghana safety regulations and international standards.
• Certification such as NEBOSH or IOSH is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and report‑writing abilities.
