HR & People Operations Officer

About the role

The HR & People Operations Officer will lead day‑to‑day HR activities, ensuring that all services across the employee lifecycle are delivered accurately, on time, and in full compliance with legislation and internal policies. This role supports the organization’s strategic objectives through effective people management and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily HR operations, standardising and continuously improving processes.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, labour regulations, and company policies.
• Advise managers on employee relations, disciplinary actions, grievances and conflict resolution.
• Support compensation and benefits administration to maintain internal equity and market competitiveness.
• Facilitate performance management, including goal setting, mid‑year reviews and annual appraisals.
• Coordinate onboarding, orientation and succession planning initiatives.
• Assist with change‑management projects, providing HR support and communication.
• Maintain HR data, generate regular reports on headcount, turnover, performance and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in HR operations or administration.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
