Human Resource Manager (Manufacturing & Warehousing)

About the role

The Human Resource Manager will lead the HR function for a manufacturing and warehousing business, overseeing both trading and transport divisions. You will be responsible for recruiting, developing, and retaining staff while ensuring compliance with Ghana Labour Laws.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and manage sales, warehouse, storekeeping and administrative personnel for the trading side.
• Recruit, manage and keep records of drivers, mechanics and transport support staff.
• Monitor employee performance, attendance, discipline and productivity across both divisions.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and staff welfare programmes.
• Coordinate training programmes to improve performance, safety and customer service.
• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters and conflict resolution.
• Prepare accurate HR reports and maintain employee records for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology or related field.
• Minimum 3 years (36 months) of HR management experience, preferably in manufacturing, warehousing or transport.
• Strong knowledge of Ghana Labour Law and HR best practices.
• Residence in Kasoa, Mallam, Weija, SCC, McCarthy Hill, Amanfrom or surrounding communities.
• Professional HR certification is an advantage.
