About the role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded HR Business Partner to support key business functions and drive the people agenda in alignment with our organizational strategy. The role combines strategic partnership with hands‑on operational delivery, ensuring a strong employee experience and enabling business growth.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to align people strategies with business objectives, providing workforce planning, organisational design and change support.
- Lead recruitment activities, manage workforce approvals, contribute to selection processes and structure offers.
- Support onboarding and integration of new employees and facilitate talent reviews, succession discussions and development planning.
- Drive performance management processes including goal setting, mid‑year and annual reviews, and support managers in development conversations.
- Coordinate implementation of learning and development initiatives.
- Provide guidance on compensation structures, employment packages and support employee engagement and culture‑building programs.
- Ensure effective management of the employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit.
- Advise managers on employee relations matters, workplace concerns and constructive engagement with employee representatives.
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local labour legislation.
- Maintain high standards of HR data accuracy, support payroll and benefits administration and drive continuous improvement in HR service delivery.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- 5–7+ years progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in an HR Business Partner role.
- Experience supporting multiple business functions in a structured organisation.
- Strong knowledge of Ghana labour laws, union negotiations and HR best practices.
- Proven experience handling employee relations and performance management processes.
- Exposure to compensation structuring and HR systems.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication, analytical and coaching abilities.
