Human Resources Manager

About the role

Tap&Hop is looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead people operations across its Kumasi and Ashanti Region sites. You will shape HR strategy, drive talent acquisition, and foster a high‑performance culture that supports the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding, development, retention and exit processes.
• Advise senior management and staff on HR policies, performance, and workplace matters.
• Lead performance management, including goal setting, appraisals and development plans.
• Maintain policies, employee handbooks, job descriptions, contracts and HR procedures.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, SSNIT requirements and internal policies.
• Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions and investigations confidentially.
• Design workforce plans, succession strategies and training programmes.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, leave, attendance, payroll inputs and employee records.
• Monitor engagement, culture and satisfaction, providing improvement recommendations.
• Prepare HR reports and analytics on headcount, turnover, recruitment and performance.
• Support organisational change, restructuring and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
• 6–10 years progressive HR experience, including management or leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of Ghanaian employment legislation, labour practices and HR compliance.
• Proven track record in recruitment, performance management, employee relations and organisational development.
• Experience creating and implementing HR policies, systems and procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation abilities.
