About the role
We are seeking a Hydraulic Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot hydraulic systems used in mining and processing plant equipment. The role involves hands‑on work ensuring reliable operation of critical hydraulic components.
Key responsibilities
- Install hydraulic systems and components on mining and processing equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and corrective repairs on pumps, cylinders, and hoses.
- Diagnose faults and troubleshoot hydraulic circuits to minimise downtime.
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics to guide installations and repairs.
- Execute safe hose terminations and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Required profile
- Diploma or trade certification in hydraulics or mechanical engineering.
- Proven hands‑on experience with hydraulic pumps, cylinders and hoses.
- Ability to read hydraulic schematics accurately.
- Knowledge of safe hose‑termination procedures.
