Infrastructure Technician

About the role

The Infrastructure Technician will support CANAL+ TELECOM's expansion in Ghana by maintaining and optimizing telecom infrastructure. Working on‑site in Accra, you will ensure reliable operation of power, cooling and network equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on generator sets, air‑conditioning units, and network devices.
• Install and commission equipment such as VCC, VAC, generators and cooling systems, coordinating with internal teams or external providers.
• Create weekly task schedules, produce operation reports and ensure compliance with safety and QHSE standards.
• Assist in writing tenders, monitor infrastructure projects and develop management procedures.

Required profile

• Technical diploma (BAC+2) in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in telecom or infrastructure maintenance.
• Valid B driving licence and ability to work on‑call outside regular hours.
• Proactive, autonomous and able to work both independently and within a team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of TCP/IP networks.
• Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance of telecom equipment.
