Inventory Management Coordinator – Logistics & Materials

About the role

Tullow is seeking a dynamic Inventory Management Coordinator to join its Logistics & Materials team in Takoradi, Ghana. The role supports financial control of all Tullow Ghana owned material inventories, primarily for FPSO operations, and drives inventory optimization and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the subject‑matter expert and primary contact for inventory management within the Logistics & Materials team.
• Analyse and optimise inventory stocking levels to align with business demand and budget.
• Maintain data integrity for each Inventory Master record and manage the Materials Master Request SharePoint process.
• Process daily inventory transactions (receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments) and monitor Material Requirement Planning (MRP) reports.
• Recommend and coordinate stocking level adjustments with the business.
• Support the development and implementation of Tullow Ghana inventory procedures.
• Facilitate material disposal processes and evaluate excess material returns.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to execute Maximo cycle‑count stock checks and track key performance indicators.

Required profile

• Experience in inventory management, preferably within oil & gas or related industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting requirements and financial controls.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams, including finance, warehouse, and operations.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on data quality and continuous improvement.
