Issuing Officer – Warehouse Loading Supervision

About the role

The Issuing Officer is responsible for overseeing the loading process of trucks at the warehouse, ensuring that all items are correctly positioned, documented and secured before departure. This role works closely with the sales manager, warehouse manager and data entry staff to guarantee accurate waybill completion.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure trucks are parked in designated loading bays.
• Arrange items on the truck to match the waybill and facilitate accurate checking by supervisors.
• Take clear, accurate photographs of loaded goods for future reference.
• Supervise loading assistants, directing them to place items neatly to prevent damage during transport.
• Verify that all required signatures are obtained on the waybill before handing it to the driver.
• Confirm that the sales manager, warehouse manager and data entry officer have approved the waybill prior to loading.
• Cross‑check that the items listed on the waybill correspond exactly to the goods prepared for loading.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.
• Good organizational skills to manage loading schedules and documentation.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate a small team of loading staff.
• Basic understanding of warehouse safety and goods handling practices.
