IT Project Manager

About the role

First National Bank Ghana is looking for an IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate IT projects that drive business change across its Accra and Tema operations. You will work within the Project team, collaborating with diverse talents to deliver projects on time, within budget and scope.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate and plan projects, defining scope, goals, objectives and detailed work plans.
• Manage resources—including people, procurement, systems, time and budget—through the full project lifecycle.
• Build and maintain cross‑functional relationships to enhance delivery, collaboration and innovation.
• Implement change‑management processes and ensure stakeholder understanding and adoption.
• Monitor project timelines, quality standards and resolve issues promptly to ensure client satisfaction.
• Prepare and control project budgets, report on resource usage and maintain project documentation according to established methodologies.

Required profile

• Proven ability to coordinate medium to large or highly complex IT projects.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on delivering value.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building capabilities across functional lines.
• Commitment to continuous learning in industry and subject‑matter expertise.
