Key Accounts Sales Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Key Accounts Sales Manager to lead the development and execution of account strategies for our major customers in the retail and FMCG sector. Based in Tema, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing relationships and ensuring profitable partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive account plans for assigned key customers.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and monitor performance against goals.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, promotions and trade terms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers within customer organisations.
• Analyse sales trends, market opportunities and customer performance to identify growth areas.
• Coordinate with marketing, supply‑chain, finance and customer‑service teams to deliver seamless account management.
• Manage promotional activities, evaluate their effectiveness and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Prepare regular sales forecasts, account performance reports and maintain healthy payment collections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG or consumer goods.
• Proven experience managing modern trade and key accounts.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with a results‑driven mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using ERP and CRM systems.
