About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) is seeking qualified academics to join its Faculty of Engineering as Lecturers. Positions are open across the Departments of Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Mathematics & Statistics. Successful candidates will contribute to teaching, research and community engagement in a technology‑focused university environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the assigned engineering discipline.
• Supervise student projects, theses and laboratory work.
• Conduct original research and publish findings in reputable journals.
• Participate in departmental and university service, including curriculum development and community outreach.
• Engage in faculty development activities and collaborative projects.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant engineering or applied mathematics field.
• Demonstrated teaching ability at the university level.
• Evidence of research productivity and scholarly publications.
• Three professional referees with contact details.
