Lecturer in Law and Public Policy

About the role

Ashesi University is recruiting a Lecturer in Law and Public Policy for its Law and Public Policy Department, based in Berekuso. The department prepares students for careers in private, public, non-profit and non-governmental organisations and offers a strong foundation for postgraduate study in law. The lecturer will deliver high-quality teaching and academic supervision to undergraduate students.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality tutorials, classes and lectures to undergraduate students.
• Provide academic supervision to undergraduates.
• Take part in examinations.
• Participate in departmental activities as necessary.

Required profile

• A postgraduate research degree in Public Policy (e.g. MPP, PhD/D Phil).
• Candidates without such a degree are encouraged to apply if they can show relevant experience in teaching, policymaking or policy advocacy.
• Applicants must provide details of three referees, including their current or most recent employer; referees may be approached before the interview.
