MAG Welder – Full‑time On‑site Position

About the role

The MAG Welder will join our on‑site team in Accra, performing metal active‑gas welding on a variety of components. This full‑time position requires strict adherence to technical drawings, welding procedures, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare materials and set up welding equipment according to job specifications.
• Execute MAG welds to meet defined quality and structural integrity standards.
• Inspect completed welds, identify defects, and perform corrective actions.
• Maintain welding tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Document work performed and collaborate with supervisors on production priorities.

Required profile

• Proven ability to perform MAG welding on different metals and set appropriate welding parameters.
• Capability to read and interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, and job instructions.
• Knowledge of welding safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a workshop environment.
