Male Shop Attendant

About the role

The HAPPY Program is looking for a reliable male shop attendant to join its retail team in Dzorwulu, serving customers in the Accra & Tema region. You will be the front‑line representative, helping shoppers find products, handling water‑dispenser can sales, and keeping the shop tidy.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer queries and assist with purchases.
• Package and prepare dispenser water cans for customers after purchase.
• Receive and accurately process customer orders.
• Sell available products and provide basic product information.
• Handle products carefully during packaging and delivery.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop and surrounding work area.
• Ensure products are properly arranged and readily available.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service.
• Assist with other routine shop duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Male, aged 18–30 years.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Good communication and customer‑service skills.
• Physically fit and able to handle dispenser water cans.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous shop attendant or sales assistant experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

• Salary range: GHS 1,000 – 1,500 per month.
