Manager, Data Science

About the role

The Data Science Manager will lead the design and execution of advanced analytics solutions, turning large structured and unstructured data sets into actionable business insights. You will collaborate closely with clients, data engineers, and technology teams to drive data‑driven decision making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Apply data mining techniques and statistical analysis to large, structured and unstructured data sets.
• Model complex business problems using algorithmic, machine‑learning and visualisation methods.
• Work with clients and cross‑functional teams to translate analytical findings into strategic recommendations.
• Develop and deploy intelligent automation, predictive models and scoring systems (e.g., credit scoring, propensity, churn).
• Implement standard and proprietary algorithms for data processing and pattern discovery.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in data & analytics, preferably within financial services.
• Hands‑on experience with unstructured data (streams, images) and data‑flow architectures, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Proven software development background and project‑management experience.
• Familiarity with governance, regulatory considerations and business‑intelligence environments.
