Market Research & Data Analytics Support – Assurance

About the role

Join EY's Assurance team as a National Service Personnel supporting market research and data analytics. This internship offers exposure to multiple industry sectors while developing analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research on industries, competitors and emerging trends.
• Gather and analyse information on prospective and existing clients.
• Monitor economic, regulatory and industry developments relevant to Assurance services.
• Prepare market intelligence reports, client briefs and identify business opportunities.
• Collect, clean and organise data; develop spreadsheets, trackers and dashboards.
• Generate periodic reports on business metrics, client engagements and operational performance.
• Maintain research databases and knowledge‑sharing materials.
• Provide administrative support such as scheduling meetings and maintaining documentation.

Required profile

• Final‑year university student in Finance, Data Analytics, Marketing, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Information Systems or related fields.
• Expected CGPA of Second Class Upper or higher.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Interest in business development, networking and client service.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Basic data analysis and reporting abilities.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau or SQL (advantageous).
