Marketing Manager - FMCG

About the role

A growing Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company based in Suhum, Ghana, is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager. The successful candidate will provide strategic marketing leadership, drive brand growth, strengthen market presence and develop strategies to increase sales and market share.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
• Lead brand management, product positioning and promotional campaigns.
• Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to expand market share.
• Drive product visibility and brand awareness across distribution channels.
• Work closely with the sales team to achieve revenue and market penetration targets.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis and consumer behaviour assessments.
• Manage marketing budgets and evaluate campaign performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers and other key stakeholders.
• Lead, motivate and develop the marketing team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related discipline; membership of a professional marketing body is an added advantage.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in the FMCG sector.
• Proven experience in brand management, trade marketing and market development.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable sales and brand growth.
• Excellent understanding of the Ghanaian FMCG market and distribution networks.
