Marketing Manager – Ghana & English‑Speaking Africa

About the role

The Marketing Manager for A‑Brand will design and execute localized marketing strategies across Ghana and selected English‑speaking African markets. You will translate global brand guidelines into insight‑driven campaigns that resonate with local consumer behaviour and retail dynamics.

Key responsibilities

• Lead marketing strategy and execution for the flagship brand and portfolio brands in Ghana.
• Adapt global campaigns to local market realities and consumer behaviour.
• Drive 360° campaigns covering digital, retail, PR, events and partnerships.
• Ensure premium brand positioning and strict adherence to vendor guidelines.
• Own product launches with strong in‑store and market visibility.
• Develop retail marketing for organized and unorganized channels.
• Execute POSM, merchandising and in‑store branding tailored to local trade.
• Collaborate with Sales to drive promotions and sell‑out performance.
• Manage partner marketing initiatives with distributors and retailers.
• Oversee PR, media and influencer collaborations.
• Track campaign performance, ROI and KPIs, providing optimisation recommendations.
• Manage budgets, reporting and compliance with vendor requirements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of marketing experience in consumer electronics, telecom or FMCG.
• Strong understanding of the Ghana market (must have).
• Experience working with international brands and strict brand guidelines.
• Hands‑on execution across digital and retail marketing.
• Solid analytical skills for ROI and performance tracking.
• Strong stakeholder management with vendors, sales and partners.
• Fluent English.
